“Musical Theatre Masterclass boosted Madison’s confidence”

Terry George, parent of student Madison, says her daughter matured in terms of confidence and performance thanks to the mentorship received at Musical Theatre Masterclass.

Terry recalls Madison always dancing and singing while growing up, so it was no surprise when she wanted to join her friends at Musical Theatre Masterclass as an extra-mural activity.

“For Madison, it was really about the enjoyment of dance, song and acting, which she was able to do at Musical Theatre Masterclass. After seeing one of their year-end productions, I was convinced it was the right space for her to explore musical theatre. She already had a few school friends in class, so it was an easy transition into something new,” said Terry.

While she received expert tutorship from the likes of Musical Theatre founder Dane Marais and dance teacher Kayla van Tonder, Terry was very impressed to see how confident Madison has become as a young woman.

“She was very reserved at first, but that changed with time and experience. She was already had good raw potential in terms of singing and acting and that was , but her dancing notably improved thanks to the classes with Kayla.

“This all had a positive impact on her as a person as she was evidently more confident in terms of her personality outside of Musical Theatre Masterclass, which made me happy as a parent.”

Terry would definitely recommend Musical Theatre Masterclass to all parents.

“I’ve always been a fan of musical theatre and it’s been great to see my daughter having the opportunity to explore an avenue she has a big interest in. Musical Theatre Masterclass played a big role in Madison improving her abilities and skills, while she’s developed personally as well. This will serve her well in future.”
